This unique 2 day hands-on course will enhance your assistant’s knowledge of orthodontic patient set-up, bracketing, wire placement, patient recall, and diagnostic record keeping. Schedule
Friday 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Learn basic concepts on how brackets move teeth, orthodontic patient work-ups, bracket mechanics, how to band and bracket teeth and how to remove brackets, practicing on typodonts.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (at host dental facility)
At the host dental facility, assistants learn hands-on, orthodontic room set up, orthodontic recall with scheduled patients, and diagnostic record keeping that conforms to orthodontic standards of care. Assistants will see patients for orthodontic maintenance appointments.
